1919 - YEPPOON BEACH RACES.
Yeppoon Beach because of its long straight beach was considered in its time to be one of the best beach racing locations in Queensland, it lie about fifty kilometres from Rockhampton.
The first recorded race meeting was held on the 27th and 28th of December 1919 under the auspices of the Central Queensland Motor Cycle Club, Both Solo and Sidecar races were held with distances of between one to ten miles. The race meeting's were sometimes disrupted because of the high tides.

1920 - YEPPOON BEACH RACES.
Large crowds were attracted in November 1920 when the Australian World record holder Harold Parsons was a competitor. He placed in the handicapped races on his Indian but was beaten by locals also riding Indian's.

1921 - YEPPOON BEACH RACES.
In 1921 a two day meeting was arranged but when the competitors assembled on the beach on January 1, A council inspector stepped in and stopped the meeting as the organizers didn't have a permit. Racing was transferred two miles up the beach on January 2 as a permit was not required there.

1924 - YEPPOON BEACH RACES.
Due to no newspaper reports it appears that the next Yeppoon Beach races were held on Boxing Day in 1924.

1926 - YEPPOON BEACH RACES.
In 1926 the Rockhampton Motor Cycle Club held races on Yeppoon Beach on Easter Saturday.

1933 - YEPPOON BEACH RACES.
1933 saw Herbert Avery planning to set a speed record for motor cars on Yeppoon Beack. It is not known if this event went ahead as so for no press reports have been found.

1947 > 1953 YEPPOON BEACH RACES.
From 1947 through to 1953 motorcycle and sidecar races were held each year usually on Boxing Day. In 1954 the local council refused permission for beach races. It is unclear if any further race meetings were held.
1948 - Cathcart wins.

1953 - YEPPOON BEACH RACES.
The start of the final for the 10 miles all powers handicap at the motor cycle sports on the beach at Yeppoon on Boxing Day, It was won by G Ferrar (Bundaberg) 2nd nearest the camera.
1954 - YEPPOON BEACH RACES.
In 1954 the local council denied the Rocky Motorcycle Club the use of the beach. It is unsure if Yeppoon Beach was used again for racing.
