1961 - CAROLINA SPEEDWAY
Carolina Speedway was built in 1961 after Robinwood Speedway closed. The Harrison family and race promoter Humpy Wheeler first opened the track.
The speedway is a 4/10th mile semi banked dirt oval that hosts several annual events including the Shrine 100, The King of Carolina's, the Skylar Trull Memorial, as well as many more.
