1925 - GOULBURN RACECOURSE SPEEDWAY
The Goulburn Motor Cycle Club requested the use of the Goulburn Racecourse for a speedway in 1925, The proposal was accepted providing the track did not cost more than one hundred and fifty pounds, A tender was a accepted for seventy five pounds.
The first meeting at the racecourse was held on the 14th of November 1925 with over two thousand spectators attending and was noted a great success.
There seems to be only a few meetings per season until the end of 1927, On the 15th of January 1927, Country Speedways Ltd hired the track and top touring riders competed along with race cars, Hope Bartlett in his Buggetti featured and won.

Prior to the club being able to hold its first meeting an expensive safety fence had to be built
Racing continued at the showground site up until late 1931, There appeared to be only a few meetings a year but with quality riders from surrounding districts and also from Sydney.
