1920 - NEW ENGLAND FAIRGROUNDS
The New England Fairgrounds was a 1/2 mile horse racing track that introduced motor raceing to its facility in 1920.
These motor racing events were on an iregular basis, but they did hold some major events under the sanctioning of IMCA and NARA.
By 1935 motor racing had come to an end at the Fairgrounds because of a lack of interest from the Fairs Board.
