The Tennessee Motor Speedway was a 3/8 mile banked oval dirt track that opened in 1197, The tracks life was only short lived as one of the original owners brought out the ownership of the venue, The track closed in 2005 for a season.

The track did reopen again in 2007 under the name of Cookevills Speedway for one season only before closing.
