Sad to report the death today of Mark Welch after suffering a stroke, Mark was the son of USA Speedway sedan car legend Gene Welch, Mark raced in Australia in the late 1970's.
In later years Mark re-visited Australia on ocassions remaining good friends with some of the drivers that he raced against.
