1980 - FORT WAYNE DRIVING PARK
Fort Wayne Driving Park originally opened in 1890 as a one mile dirt oval Trotting track for horses.

1902 - FORT WAYNE DRIVING PARK
In 1902 the Fort Wayne Fair Association took control of the Driving Park and introduced motor racing as a part of their annual fair. The first race consisted of a five car field. Harry Meyers was the winner of this event. From this point on motor racing would continue to feature at the yearly fair as well as other stand alone meetings scattered in between.

1913 - FORT WAYNE DRIVING PARK
By 1913 the Fair Association was in insolvent and forced to close down its operations. The land was then sold off to the hungry developers who built housing on the site.
