WA is to get a third major motor-racing circuit with a three million dollar Wheatbelt Motorplex at Dowerin, 157km East of Perth.
Project promoter Greg Ross said the circuit would host club racing for cars and motorcycles.
It was not the aim of the group to gain a round of the V8 Super Cars, it is not a part of the bussiness plan.

|
At this time funding is yet to be finalised but the group has indicated it would be Federally funded, as well as local shires and private investors
The opening date is expected to be Febuary 2009.
In addition to the race tracks a 470 metre Kart track and a gravel track for 4 Wheel drive training is to be built on the infield.
