1973 - ATTALA COUNTY SPEEDWAY.
Attala County Speedway opened in 1973 as a 1/4 mile dirt oval speedway. It worked out that the track was not viable, so it was closed down in 1978.

1985 - ATTALA COUNTY SPEEDWAY.
By 1985 the track had reopened with some initial success running Mini Stocks and Late Model Sedans. But once again the track fell out of favor with the racers and the paying public. The speedway closed in 2004.
