1931 - SEATTLE CIVIC STADIUMSeattle Civic Stadium was an established baseball field in Seattle with a large capasity for spectators. In 1931 a 1/5 mile dirt oval track was built around the outside of the baseball diamond, for car racing.
The tracks life is a bit hit and miss, some reports indicate the the track only operated through 1931 and 1932.

September 1941. There were many tracks that sprung up in the Seattle region in the 1930's. It could be a case of too much competition, caused some to close.
