WESTMEAD SPEEDWAY 1960

Maree Reeves recalls: I found some old photos of my dad's from the Westmead Speedway around 1960 - 1961.
My uncle's Norman and Kenny Kemp drove number 66, my dad Bill Kemp only drove a few times, I think number 77 was Billy Both.
I have wonderfull memories of the Stock Car guy's that came to our place at Malta street Villawood to work on their cars. Poor mum would add another cup of water to the soup when more would turn up for tea. I was only three years old but i remember they would all line up for a good night kiss at bedtime. I loved the overalls mum made my sister and i just for the speedway.
