1996 - WEST GEORGIA SPEEDWAY.
West Georgia Speedway opened in 1996 as a 3/8th mile Dirt Oval Speedway. The program consisted of various Stock Car sections with the feature being Late Model's.
The venue struggled most of the time with a few meeting's that would make good money.
The speedway was closed down after the end of the 2015 season. It did however reopen again in 2018, but once again struggled to make much money. They did carry on to see out their lease on the venue. The land owners in 2021 decided to not renew the lease, so the speedway closed for the last time.
