1979 - LIVERPOOL SPEEDWAY. Marlboro 100 lap Grand National. Sprintcar's & Production Car's. 17th March 1979.Paul Ash wins the Grand National.Here tonight at the Liverpool City Raceway, New South Wales driver Paul Ash has won the much sought after prize of the annual Marlboro Grand National.
Ash, who was driving the number [8] Muller Racing Team, Oldsmobile Starfish crossed the finish line ahead of Peter Crick in the number [49] Cadi Transport, Chevrolet Monza while third place went to the 1st of the American's in Ed Wilbur, driving one of the Coca Cola, Stingray Corvette's.

Australia v USA Sedan Car Challenge. 15th December 1979.Barry Graham wins the Coca Cola International.Here tonight at Liverpool Speedway we featured the running of the Coca Cola Sedan Internationalale Sedan Car Challenge with our two American guests, Jack Hewitt and Tommy Rosatti.
It was was a night of fierace racing action with all drivers Stepping up to win the crown. The end result was based on points scored across two x 20lap heats. The win was awarded to our local star, Barry Graham who won in his number [2] Formula Mirage.
