1964 - SYDNEY SHOWGROUND SPEEDWAY 16th January 1965B o b S h a r p e is our Australia ChampionNew South Wales solo rider Bob Sharpe has tonight become Australia's latest champion after he won the Australian Speedway Solo Championship here at the Sydney Royal.
New South Wales have stormed home to fill the first three positions in the championship. Behind Sharpe was Brian Collins and in third Bill Bryden.
