1946 - BELLE CLAIR SPEEDWAY
Belle Clair Speedway opened 1946 on the existing 1/2 mile horse racing track within the Belle Clair Fairgrounds.

1947 - BELLE CLAIR SPEEDWAY
The track went through a major upgrade just one year after opening, with the size being reduced to a 1/5 mile. This would allow for the Midget Cars to be added to the program.

1950's - BELLE CLAIR SPEEDWAY
By the 1950's the ever popular Stock Cars had also been added to the program. Speedway at Belle Clair had been a truely lasting affair, That was until 2019 when the Covid situation caused the speedway to close.
