1926 - TULSA SPEEDWAY 1The first Tulsa Speedway track built was a 1/2 mile dirt oval, This track was later shortened to a 3/8th mile version, Both these configurations had a 1/5th mile speedway oval inside the main track, The first Grand Stand was brought in from the old Kansas City Board track that had been built in 1915, The track closed in 1973.

The track location for the original speedway is now part of the parking lot for the Fair Medows Simulcast Centre, with is marked with a special plaque laid into the pavement surface.
The second speedway opened in 1974 and operated through until 1984 when it closed.
