1975 - ATLANTA DRAGWAY
Atlanta Dragway was built in 1975 by Gene Bennett and had originally been graded out for an airstrip, The original tower served as the initial timing tower. The track direction was the same as the airstrip, The surface was not sealed but consisted of red clay.

1980 - ATLANTA DRAGWAY
In 1980 Norman Pearah bought the venue and gained NHRA santioning, but he would only run two major events per year.

1987 - ATLANTA DRAGWAY
In 1987 the venue went through a major redevelopment after Pro Stock racer Gary Brown and his two partners, JD Stevens and Rudy Bowen bought it. New grandstands were errected, new toilet facilities and modernized concession buildings.

1989 - ATLANTA DRAGWAY
By 1989 further ongoing upgrades had been carried out with some track resurfacing and a timing system upgrade.

1990 - ATLANTA DRAGWAY
As the venue grew the upgrades continued. The Tower was expanded ti include a timing deck, Press Centre and Corperate Suites.

1993 - ATLANTA DRAGWAY
The NHRA bought the Dragway back in 1993 and made further upgrades up until 2021 when the venue closed.
