1951 - ANNISTON SPEEDWAY.
Anniston Speedway opened in 1951 as a 3/8 mile dirt oval speedway. The venue operated with some patchy success through till 1955 when it closed.

1959 - ANNISTON SPEEDWAY.
The venue sat empty and quiet until a new manager took over in 1959 and reopened the speedway. It has been reported that this was the most successful period for the speedway under this new team, but for whatever reason the venue was forced to close in 1972.
