1976 - LEINSTER THE INCEPTION
Leinster is a town in the Northern Goldfields area of West Australia, the town is located four kilo-metres east of the Goldfields Highway in the shire of Leonora.
The town was established in 1976 by the Agnew Gold Mining Company for its workers at its nearby nickel mine.
The Town was named after the nearby Leinster Downs Station.
