1950 - BERLIN RACEWAY
Berlin Raceway opened in 1950. It began life as a horse racing track prior to World War 2 but closed down after the war started.
Currently the track is a 7/16 mile paved oval speedway running on a weekly basis with many high profile ARCA, American Speed Association and World of Outlaw events.
The venue was built and developed by Chester Mysliwiec with assistance from his family, He would on-sell the venue to the West Michagan Whitecaps in 2001.
Berlin Raceway did go through a name change at some point after the war because of the anti German sentiment, but we are unsure of the replacement name or dates. A further date is also not known when the venue's named reverted back to Berlin Raceway.

2017 - BERLIN RACEWAY
After the completion of the 2017 regular race season, many truck loads of dirt were brought in and layered over the lap of the pavement track, turning the venue into a racey fast Dirt Track Speedway. Three Touring Series visited the venue over that short September / October 2017 period. After that the dirt was taken away and Berlin Raceway was once again, 100% Pavment.
