1929 - ATUJARA MOTORCYCLE CLUB
The club was first planned and formed in 1929, Some of the initial members were Syd Leanex, Les Bray, Arthur and Tom Hubbard two brothers who owned the local Matchless Motorcycle agency in Groat Street, at the time they allowed the club to use one of there up stairs rooms as there clubrooms.
The Atujara Motor Cycle Club is one of the oldest and biggest clubs in Australia, covering many codes of motor cycle racing.
1947 - WARRADALE TTThe 1947 circuit was considered to be the long circuit, The pits were located in a vacant paddock on Morphet Road.
15th October 1947 |
1948 WARRADALE TTIn 1948 the circuit was shortened and the pits were located on Sturt Road.
