1954 - HAWKSTONE PARK SCRAMBLE TRACK.
The Bunbury Motor Cycle Club used this track from 1954 through to 1963, This was the clubs first official track, During its years of operation the track was situated in bushland along side the Five Mile Brook, Along the other side of the brook was a cleared flat open paddock used for landing aeroplanes on, This area today is known as Hay Park, The track closed in 1963 and the club moved to the Shrubland Park Circuit on the North Boyanup Road.
Don Collins recalls: Access to the scramble track was a small limestone track (now Parade Road) off Bussell Highway, the limestone followed the paddocks fence line to the Five Mile Brook were you crossed a small bridge made of logs, over the bridge and the limestone track turned left and followed the fence line to the scramble track.

1954 - HAWKSTONE PARK TRAINING TRACK.
During the winter months to reach the official scramble track was sometimes a problem because of flooding, so Glenn Britza decided to build a training, come, practice track in the same area but much closer to Bussell Highway.
Don Collins Recalls: Although the training track was never used for competition, I would think that every single member of the Bunbury Motorcycle Club would have ridden on this track over its life, Glenn Britza managed to obtain some bikes on loan for training and practice, The site is were the St Johns Ambulance Headquarters are now.
