1904 - FRESNO SPEEDWAY.
Fresno Speedway began in 1904 when the Fair Board decided to start running motor racing events at there annual fair. The existing one mile horse track was ideal to show case this growing sport.

1912 - FRESNO SPEEDWAY.
Fresno Speedway hit the big time in 1912 with the Fair Board reaching out for AAA sanctioning for there events. This would attract some big name drivers to the venue.

1920 - FRESNO SPEEDWAY.
It was in 1920 that a group of investors got together to build a high banked timber structure over the top of the already existing dirt track.

1924 - FRESNO SPEEDWAY.
In 1924 the big high banked Board track suffered a huge set back when part of the track fence and grand stand burnt down. Fortunately the repairs were carried out in time, so as not to effect the up coming annual fair.

1927 - FRESNO SPEEDWAY.
Fresno Speedway closed after the completion of the 1927 season, reasons unknown, and the structure was demolished straight after closing.
