1947 - BALLARAT AIRFIELD CIRCUIT
Motor racing organised by the Light Car Club of Australia and the Victorian Sporting Car Club commenced on a 3.2 mile layout at the Ballarat Airfield on the 26th of January 1947.

1950 - BALLARAT AIRFIELD CIRCUIT
Motor racing returned to the airfield on the 26th of January 1950 and 1951, also again in 1953, 1961 saw the running of the Victorian Trophy Race.

1953 - WANGARATTA AIRSTRIP TRACK
Racing had recommenced at the gravel airstrip in 1953, racing was up and down the runway with a wiggle at one end only, The track was now under the control of the North Eastern Car Club. Racing continued at the airstrip until 1956 when the new Tarrawingee Circuit opened.
