1933 - ROESINK STADIUM
Roesink Stadium opened as a baseball field for the Detroit Stars team, The owner of the property appeared to be having financial problems and lost ownership of the venue some time prior to 1933.
This left the group controlling the stadium to try and get some income in while trying to sell it.
One of these options was speedway, These events were run between 1933 and 1934 when the venue was sold to a buyer with baseball interests, putting an end to speedway racing.
