1954 - SUNNYGRAND SPEEDWAY.
Sunnygrand Speedway opened in 1954 as a 1/2 mile dirt oval speedway running Midgets and Stock Cars.
Towards the later part of the tracks life the decission was made topave the track, This lasted for two years only, before the pavevent was ripped up and the surface returned to dirt.
The track closed in 1975 sighting dust problems and falling spectator numbers.
