1988 - BRIGADOON EQUESTRIAN CENTRE. Speedway Solo & Sidecar's. 25th June 1988.Promoted as the first ever Australian indoor dirt track speedway, the date was the 25th of June 1988 and the venue was the Brigadoon Equestrian Centre,
Solo champion Glyn Taylor was the man behind the concept, the track itself was quite small only 120 metres in length and the width of the track varying between 7 metres on the straights & 12.5 metres on the turns
