1988 BRIGADOON EQUESTRIAN CENTRE
Promoted as the first ever Australian indoor dirt track speedway, the date was the 25th of June 1988 and the venue was the Brigadoon Equestrian Centre,
Solo champion Glyn Taylor was the man behind the concept, the track itself was quite small only 120 metres in length and the width of the track varying between 7 metres on the straights and 12.5 metres on the corners.
The programme consisted of Solos, Sidecars, and Go carts,
A second meeting was programmed and run on the 30th of July 1988.
Further meetings were held in December of 1988 on the 10th and the 16th.
