1951 - 53 SPEEDWAY
53 Speedway opened in 1951 as a 1/4 mile dirt oval track running Stock Cars, Not long after opening there was friction, and plenty of it, between the drivers and the track owners causing the locals to boycott the track.
With the news of a new track opening nearby in 1952 called Rice Lake Speed Pit, 53 Speedway was forced to close down during 1952.
