Neil Stratton recalls: The Racing Car News magazine report had this meeting delayed a week to the 5th of February due to torrential week long rain, Rogerson missed his first wedding anniversary to race and won the main race after Beechey and Sharp failed to finish.
Night races at Oran Park were a great night of entertaining races with 6,000 spectators at this meeting.
