1967 - SYDNEY SHOWGROUND SPEEDWAY. 29th October 1967.Revell takes Speedcar featureNew South Wales Speedcar second generation racer Howard Revell has tonight won the (Speedcar feature race), while Ray Noble has claimed the (Speedcar Scratch Race Final).
Other wins went to Jim Airey (Solo Scratch and Handicap race finals)
Bob Levy and Col Lewis won the (Sidecar Scratch Race Final) while Gary Treloar and Art Fickel took out the (Sidecar Handicap race Final.

1967 - SYDNEY SHOWGROUND SPEEDWAY. 11th November 1967.This meeting at the Sydney Showground would be remembered for many thing's, firstly the fact that the British Lions would defeat the Australian Kangaroo's by one single point only.
Secondly the British win proved too much for one very disgruntled Aussie fan who threw a bottle at Terry Betts striking him on the head as the team set off on its victory lap, however the culprit was eventually apprehended.
Thirdly 25,000 spectators packed into the Sydney Showground's to witness the revival of the England verses Australia Solo Test Series.
