1928 - WENTWORTH SPEEDWAYWentworth Speedway was known under a few names from its inception in 1928, under the control of National Speedway Ltd, the first meeting was programmed for the 7th of April 1928 but was rained out, as was the 2nd meeting, originally named Wentworth Oval then Wentworth Park, the venue operated up until the 5th of December 1936 when it closed.
