2018 - COLLIE SPEEDWAY LATE MODEL SEDAN USA INVASION TOUR - 19th January 2018

After two nights of racing at the Perth Motorplex on the previous weekend, the USA invasion tour moved to the Collie Speedway for night three of the series.
The Collie Racing Drivers Association have always been huge supporters of Late Model Racing and rightly so as the venue packs out every time they appear.

2018 - WEST AUSTRALIAN PRODUCTION SEDAN CHAMPIONSHIP
|
The Collie Racing Drivers Association hosted the West Australian Production Sedan Championship over the Australia Day long weekend, with event kicking of on the 25th of January, heat racing on the 26th of January and the balance of the heats and the feature on the 27th of January.
Production sedans in West Australian are at an all time high in popularity within drivers and spectators, the racing is always at a premium, especially come title time.
Barry Rose drove a perfect meeting to obtain a front row start in the Sigma for the feature, no surprise there as Barry has been in fantastic form leading up to the title, and as it played out the slick track specialist in the Sigma drove away from the field in the last few laps.
Second home in a Commodore was another slick track specialist in Kyle Sayer, Kyles more power full V6 Commodore was all over Barry through out the feature and often along side of him, but the track lacked an on the wall race line for the bigger cars to excel.
Third across the line was Wayne Leviston in the Falcon, once again no surprise as Wayne from the Ellenbrook Racing Drivers Association has hit a real purple patch this season, with some very good results, Wayne is one of those drivers that has been racing for years and is also a leading member of his Ellenbrook club.
All in all once again a very well run title by the Collie RDA, also a very popular bunch of guys on the podium.

2018 - COLLIE SPEEDWAY CHRISTMAS CUP 22nd December 2018The Collie Racing Drivers Association hosted there annual Christmas Cup over Saturday night at the Collie Speedway, Featuring Modified Sedans and a all sedan car support programme of, New Star and Top Star juniors, as well as Street and Production Sedans.

2018 - COLLIE SPEEDWAY SPEEDWEEK ROUND 2 27th December 2018

Kaiden Manders has taken out round two of Speedweek at Collie Speedway on Monday the 27th of December.
Young Kaiden was never seriously chalanged for the entire 30 lap feature, This win comes on the back of his 5th place in round one at the Perth Motorplex.
Brad Maiolo started the feature from row two and moved into second place early in the race, he held that position right up to when the checquer came out.
Ben Ellement as always was very impressive starting out of position five,He was soon in third place,holding that spot until race end.

The first of the American drivers to finish was Mark Dobmeier in forth position, from a forth row start.
Round three of Speedweek returns to the Perth Motorplex on Saturday the 29th of December 2018.
