1959 - NORTHEASTERN SPEEDWAY.
Northeastern Speedway opened in 1959 as a 1/5 mile dirt oval speedway, under the control of the newly formed Northeastern Racing Association.

1961 - NORTHEASTERN SPEEDWAY.
After the completion of the 1960 season it was decided to pave the track. The track did remain open until the end of the 1966 racing season, when the owners closed it. Reports indicate that the competition from other tracks in the area was too great.
The track is still intact and is a gathering point for the Vintage speedway movement.
