1952 - SARAMANA SPEEDBOWL.
SaraMana Speedbowl opened in 1952 as a 1/4 mile paved oval speedway, It has been reported that the site was originally a 1/2 mile motorcycle dirt bike track.
Stock Cars were the main attraction on the program, with the modified's appearing soon after.
The venue did go through a name change during the 1950's to SaraMana Speedway.

1960's - SARASOTA-BRADENTON SPEEDWAYDuring the 1960's the ownership of the track changed and so did the name to Sarasota-Bradenton Speedway, During this period a figure eight track was also added.
By 1971 the tracks days were finished, The developers had moved in and the land became quite valuable, So the track made way for houses.
