1953 - SOAP LAKE SPEEDWAY.
Soap Lake Speedway opened in 1953 as a 1/4 mile, high banked paved oval speedway running mainly Stock Cars and Modifieds.
The racing was well attended by both Competitors and spectators, but it has been reported that racing association was involved in a continues battle with the City to stay open. By 1971 the racing came to an end and the speedway closed.
