1976 - KUMARA RACEWAY
Kumara Raceway opened in 1976 as a 1/4 mile dirt oval speedway track in Kumara Junction on the South Island of New Zealand. The track featured mainly Stock Cars.
The rather crude track was built and run by the West Coast Stock Car Club and was verry successful.
The track closed down in 1984 with most of the competitors and fans migrating to the Greenstone Park Speedway.
