1996 - SOUTHERN OREGON SPEEDWAY.
Southern Oregon Speedway opened in 1996 as a 1/4 mile Dirt Oval Speedway. This track would add to the existing Drag Strip and become a part of the plan to make the area a major motorsport complex.
The speedway was a success from the get go with large, well promoted events featuring, Sprintcar's, Late Model's, Modified's, Dwarf Car's and Stock Cars.

2014 - SOUTHERN OREGON SPEEDWAY.
By 2014 things were beginning to sour, competitor and spectator numbers were dropping off. A new operator had just moved in with a plan to take the speedway back to its former glory days, but by then Covid was running ramped. In 2019 the speedway closed down.
