1971 SUPER OVAL SPEEDWAY
Super Oval Speedway opened in 1971 as a 3/8 mile banked sealed oval speedway. The track was built next to the recently opened dragstrip. The main program consisted of Stock Cars and Modifieds drawing some big names, such as Bill Yukovich and Mike Bliss.
The track closed in 1986 sighting money issues. There were attempts to reopen the track but with no success.

1995 - CHAPARRAL SPEEDWAY
The venue did reopen again in 1995 under the name of Chaparral Speedway with a 1/4 mile dirt track built on the infield, once again the venue was declared unviable and closed for the final time in 2005.
