1946 - CRYSTAL BEACH SPEEDWAY.
Crystal Beach Speedway opened as a 1/2 mile dirt oval track in 1946 with in the Woodward County Fairgrounds.
Around 1961 the track was relayed as a 1/4 mile dirt oval, Stock Cars and Late Models were regulars on the program along with some Sprintcar events.
In 1973 the track was once again ripped up and re-layed as a 3/8 mile dirt oval, racing would boom over the next ten years with record spectator and competitor numbers.
The speedway did close in 1983 for a short period, but re-opened again in 1986, After 1986 race meetings were very much on and off until the track closed for the final time in 1989.
