1953 - SPORTS BOWL
Sports Bowl was a 1/4 mile dirt oval speedway that opened in 1953 running Jalopy and Stock Car races, The venue was very popular with the local drivers and spectators.
The track did close in 1968 and racing was moved to the Dabuque County Fairgrounds.
