1926 - NEW KENSINGTON SPEEDWAY
New Kensington Speedway opened in 1926 as a half mile dirt oval track running mainly midgets, The racing events were not on a regular basis in those early years, The track did close in 1934.

1938 - NEW KENSINGTON SPEEDWAY
The track did re-open again in 1938, but as a 1/4 mile version, racing continued through until 1941 when it closed again because of the outbreak of World War 2.

1947 - NEW KENSINGTON SPEEDWAY
After the war the track did re-open, Jalopy's were introduced to boost the program, It has been reported that a fire destroyed the grandstand and the track closed for the final time.
