NEVILLE OUTRAM7th December 2021In the 1962 / 1963 season Claremont Speedway ran the first West Australian Hot Rod Championship, In 1964 Neville debuted his Dodge powered racer at Wattle Grove Speedway and Claremont Speedway.
It wasn't long before he was starting from the back mark with the heavy hitters of the era.
In 1965 came his proudest moment when he defeated the great American driver Marshall Sargent at Claremont Speedway during there season.
Neville represented Western Australia in several interstate match race series and won 3 Claremont feature races.
Neville went on enjoying the speedway life, surrounded by his mates, until he retired in 1966.
