2017 - AUGUSTA MARGARET RIVER SPEEDWAY LIMITED SPRINTCAR FEATURE - 4th November 2017
The Augusta Margaret River Hot Rod Club kicked off it 2017 - 2018 racing season on the 4th of November 2017 with a Limited Sprintcar feature event, this being round one of the Limited Sprintcar Association's club championship.
Support divisions on the night were Street Sedans, Junior Sedans and Productions.
Limited Sprintcars have always had a deep connection within the Margaret River Club and always been popular with the fans, To date three generations of the Minchin family have all raced Limited's, other members such as Gavin Pratt, now passed, Neville Bornatici and others have all pulled on a suit in this division.
Local racer and current club president Alex Williams has currently stepped up from Production Sedans into Limited Sprintcar thus maintaining a local interest in the division.

2017 - WASDA USA vs WA SPEEDCAR SHOOTOUT - 16th December 2017Saturday the 16th of December saw round two of the USA vs WA Speedcar Shootout held at the Augusta Margaret River Speedway.
Alex Bright from the USA driving for the Graham Jones team claimed victory in this the second nights racing for the weekend, the previous nights racing was round one at the Manjimup Speedway.
Second place in the feature went to Glen Mears who initially lead the feature until Bright made his move, Third place went to Travis White who started the feature from row two.
Street Sedans where the support for the rain effected Speedcar Shootout, Damien Amato from Bunbury was dominant, winning both his heats and the 15 lap feature from Daniel Stanley, with Dylan Magee in third place.
