1926 - ATLANTIC CITY SPEEDWAY
The Atlantic City Speedway was a 1.5 mile, 50' wide high banked board oval, The track was built in 1926 on land owned by Amatol company, and hosted eight American Automobile Association sanctioned races through to 1928.
The track was built by the Jack Prince Construction company of Oakland California, costing in the millions, The investors in the project included Charles M Schwab, Marshall R Ward, H E Clarke and S D Clark.
The venue was also known as Amatol Speedway.

Allthough racing finished in 1928, it wasn't until 1933 that the great wooden structure was demolished.
