Darren Stewart recall: His young days what it was like being involved in a motor racing family and there association with the mountain. Imagine the fear his dad must of felt pushing that early Holden on conventional tyres across the top of the mountain and over 100mph down Conrod Straight during the Bathurst 100.

1962 - MOUNT PANORAMA. BATHURST 6 HOUR CLASSIC. 30th September 1962Prior to the the running of the Armstrong 500 at Mount Panorama, sedan car racing was already enjoying a great deal of success, on Sunday the 30th of September a six hour classic for sedan cars was held.
