1964 - SACRAMENTO RACEWAY.
Sacramento Raceway opened in 1964 as a 1/4 mile sealed Drag Strip on Excelsior Road in Sacramento. The Drag Strip would be just the start of an ever evolving motor sport venue. The venue would become very popular and would also be known as Sac Raceway.

1967 - ELDORADO RACEWAY.
In 1967 Betty Clark would take on the management roll at the strip and rename it, Eldorado Raceway, but just for that one year.

1968 - SACRAMENTO RACEWAY PARK.
In 1968 Dave Smith leased the and took over the management. The name was changed again, to Sacramento Raceway Park, things seemed to be going ok so in 1971 he purchased the venue.

2017 - SACRAMENTO RACEWAY PARK.
By 2017 the venue had been listed on the market for a cool 11 million dollars. Initially the responce was not that exciting, but in 2023 the venue did finally sell at an unknown number and closed for trading at the end of that season.
