1939 - HELLS HALF ACRE SPEEDWAY.

Hells Half Acre Speedway opened in 1939 as a 1 mile dirt oval speedway. The life of the track was very short because of the outbreak of World War 2 and the world wide ban on motor racing. The track closed down in 1941 and never reopened.
