1952 - WINIFRED WELLS. AROUND AUSTRALIA.Winifred Wells who is no stranger to motorcycle endurance riding will be heading off again on some of the most demanding roads and bush tracks that Australia has to offer. This time Winnie was joined by her farther a long time motorcycle man George Wells, we covered Winnie on the 1951 page with here Perth to Sydney and back solo ride on her 350cc Royal Enfield Bullet.
The journey was to be a semi casual affair aiming to achieve a target of about 300 miles per day with some overnight stop overs in some major towns.
The pair left Perth on the 23rd of September 1952, arriving at La Grange on the 5th of October 1952. other stops such as Fitzroy Crossing on the 7th of October, Darwin the 14th of October. Mount Isa the
