1951 - AUSTRALIA v ENGLAND. 3rd February 1951.
While the Australia v England test series in Australia for the 1959>1951 season was an unoficial test, seven test matches were held in Australia and Australia won 7 to 0.
Its not suprising that few fans can recall one match because it was held at the Bathurst Showgrounds and Australia won 67 points to 40 points. the points score were as follows.
Final points standings
It is surprising that England did not loose by a greater margin, A vehicle carrying the visitors was involved in an accident on the way to Bathurst.
Eddie Rigg was injured and forced to retire after one ride, Both Rigg and Williams had to borrow machines as theirs were damaged in the accident.
