1970 - ASHBURTON SPEEDWAY
Ashburton Speedway opened in 1970 under the control of the Ashburton Stock Car Club.
The club went through a name change in 1985 to the Ashburton Speedway Association.
The venue is currently operating and runs a variety of classes on a regular basis including Stock and Production Sedan.
